Speech – Jennifer Lemus It is such an honor and great opportunity for Foshay to be a part of this partnership. This partnership is important to our school because it gives us an opportunity to have education without borders. It is also an opportunity for us to learn about another culture and share innovative ideas to help shape our world for a better future. It is thrilling to know that we will be collaborating with a school that is halfway around that world and that we will be learning many things from each other. As globalization advances, new problems arise that must be fixed by global leaders, and those leaders start with us, today's youth. We are the future global leaders that will advance the understanding of problems around the world and work to fix them. I hope that we and our sister school in South Africa can not only gain knowledge about our successes and our problems, but together come up with global solutions. As Diane Watson said, our partners are committed to designing and implementing programs where students and teachers can work together and inspire the next generation of scientists, engineers, innovators, and ambassadors to help shape our future.
